First Sunday of Ordinary Time
This Sunday we launch into Ordinary Time, the lengthy stretch of the church year between Trinity Sunday and Christ the King. This season allows us to dig into the details of Christ’s earthly ministry—to trace out his teaching and his actions closely. We’ll be studying the call of Matthew this week as it is told in Matthew 9:9-13.
